one of grindelwald’s stongest traits is his charm; the boy was handsome, their casting of jcb was beyond PERFECT. and there’s nothing more dangerous than a powerful villain who’s also hot, given how people are positively predisposed to good looks. so someone explain to me how they cast depp and instead of enhancing his already pretty face they turn him into some human pale rediculous bird?!

Υπάρχουν συναισθήματα αρκετά δυνατά για να διανύσουν τη μισή Γη; Χωρίς χρονοκαθυστερήσεις.Γιατί αυτή τη στιγμή δεν μπορώ να δώσω μια ξεκάθαρη απάντηση. Από τη μία νιώθω αποκομμένη απ’ όλα όσα είναι μακριά και από σένα. Σαν να έχει κόψει κάποιος το σκοινί σε αυτά τα ποτήρια-τηλέφωνα. Αλλά εγώ δεν το ξέρω γιατί το σκοινί είναι μακρύ. Και προσπαθώ, προσπαθώ αλλά μια απάντηση δεν έρχεται. Από την άλλη σ’αγαπώ τόσο πολύ που σε κουβαλάω μέσα μου. Κι ακόμα κι αν δεν μιλάμε, δεν νιώθω μόνη. Γιατί δεν το ξέρουμε αλλά κι εσύ θα είπες κάτι σε κάποιον για μένα κι εγώ θα είδα μια γκαλερί σήμερα και θα σε σκέφτηκα
What she says: I’m fine
What she means: The greatest part of ‘La La Land’ is that Sebastian never truly gets over Mia, even with five years and her marriage separating them; he remains alone after her successful audition and goes on to fund his own dream (which is successful but nowhere near the heights of her personal fame), but the epilogue reveals that he regrets his choices in life and believes he should’ve tossed aside his own dreams in order to fully support hers. 99% of the time, it’s expected that the female character has to drop her dreams in order to support her love interest’s (and they actually played with that, in Seb inviting her to come with the band to Idaho two weeks before her show premiered), and the fact that they defied expectations and made it about her and what she wanted, rather than just succumbing to helping him and his desires, makes the bittersweetness of the ending more profound
I think the ending was perfect, noone dropped their dreams and both were happy. The fact that we see Sebastian playing in his club alone doesn’t mean that he is literally alone in life. And even if he is that doesn’t say anything about his not being over Mia. As for the epilogue, they were both thinking of what their lives could be had they stayed together, it wasn’t just Sebastian.
